Landmark 365

I own a 2013 Landmark 5th wheel which is an upper line RV that was affordable. The 2015 Landmark 365 looks to be from all price information that I have seen have priced there self too high. According to Heartlands website there are only 4 plans available and all 4 are 41+ feet long. No comparison to the DRV Mobile Suites.
Guess I will look at the Keystone Big Sky or the DRV when I trade in 2 years or sooner.:(

You may want to look at a different make if you want a high end RV.

Ford Man--What difference does it make. For those who think it makes a difference I have a Landmark San Antonio. I selected the Land Mark without knowing anything about trailers and now that I do have some knowledge. My comments are based on my experience and observations.

Looks like one of the reason the Landmark 365 costs more money is they are using 8k axles and 17.5 inch Goodyear tires. They put more money into some of the suspension components but some how forgot to upgrade the hangers, bolts and the small stuff. From what I see the Landmark is a Big Horn with equipment that is optional on the Big Horn. In other words it is a mid point trailer trying to imitate a high end trailer.
I think if one wants a high end trailer they should look else where and get a real high end trailer. As the saying goes "you can't polish a turd"

What kind of RV do you have?

The Luxury line of fifth wheels for Heartland are the Landmark, Bighorn, Big Country, and Gateway. The Bighorn is not a mid-point for Heartland. We love our Bighorn and have been very pleased with the quality and amenities. We're sticking with this one. I'd like to think my Bighorn is not a turd.

Has anyone have experience with Lifestyle. They are on the same price point as Landmark, but seem better built. Also the factory is more willing to make modifications.

We have friends (full-timers) who had major issues with their Landmark and purchased a Lifestyle last year. They love it.

Hey we made reservations today for Disney next Fall Break as well as Camping on the Gulf in Destin. I will cancel one of them when we decide where we want to go. Be safe, we are coming by your house Friday and going thru Chattanooga this year.
Already interested in a different RV!

I find it somewhat comical that someone who trades in on a regular basis would be complaining about new unit pricing. Trading in every couple of years is about the worst financial decision anyone could make.

Well you are wrong. I traded a 2010 Montana on the 2013 Landmark and went up on MSRP about $35,000. The dealer allowed me on the 3 year old Montana what I could have paid for it if it was bought straight out in 2010. Then they discounted the Landmark about 36% off of the MSRP. So I traded for a great price when I bought the Landmark.

After seeing the price at the Hershey show in the Big Sky it was priced the same if not higher then the Landmark 365 and did not seem to ne as nice as the Landmark, just my opinion. At the show for my money I liked the price and quality of the Trilogy the best.
