Hello Everyone. My wife and I looking to buy a used 5th wheel toy hauler and I saw a 29ft 2003 Layton Toy Hauler for sale. I haven't heard of that brand before so any information would be helpful. I would be hauling a Rhino or a couple of quads in it (Not all at once). My tow vehicle is a 16 F350 so I don't think its weight would be an issue. Any info would be great.

Layton was a well known "brand name" RV of that era. I think the Toy Hauler in the Layton brand was called the Rampage. Layton was part of the Skyline Corp who also made Toy Haulers under the Skyline name too. But my guess is that it probably was built on the same line with different features & stickers. If it's in good shape it could be a good value, but you need to do a detailed inspection of any RV to make sure it hasn't had water leaks.

I did not know they made a toy hauler. We had an old 80's model Layton 5th wheel that was still in great shape after 20 years of use. Darn well built rig.
Layton was bought out by Evergreen a year or two ago, then Evergreen closed their doors this last summer. It might be hard to get much info on them now.
