Does anyone happen to have the turning radius of a 99 ford 350 4 door 4x4. My google searches haven't turned up much.
Now that I think about it my truck does turn a lot better then my friends Ford. I do recall flipping a U where he had to do a 3 point turn around.
Well the hunt is still on... no rush at this point.
I can say that the turning radius of a 2002 F350 CC DRW 4x4 is about 5.5 feet longer then that of a 2005 F350 CC DRW 4x4. I did that test on my driveway awhile back.
I understand that the F450 sometimes has a tighter turning radius then a comparable F350. I don't know if that's actually true but I do know it sure sounds odd.

We have a 38' fifth wheel and we've found we can get into just about anyplace, as long as we can inch back and forth about a hundred times and can put up with the 8 other campers who wander over and yell "CUT TO THE RIGHT!....TO THE RIGHT!!.....TO THE RIGHT!!!.....CUT TO THE LEFT..NO, CUT TO THE RIGHT!!!!..BACK UP TWO FEET....NOW PULL FORWARD.....ad nauseum" until they get bored and go back to their sites.

So the best reason to buy an 05 ford 6.0 is turning radius.. :B

I think the turning radius of truck involved also makes a difference. I have an 02 F350 SRW, and I would guess a school bus has a better turning radius than my Ford. It is terrible. You could do a quick google to compare your turning radius to your friends Ford.
