Another feature you may not know about is the "return to unhook position" will only work if the trailer has to move up. If it needs to move down to reach the unhooked position, it will not work and you will get a message that says "feature disabled". I guess this is a safety feature to prevent the trailer from coming down on something while it is unattended.

The 2 rearmost (intermediate & rear) jacks on each side share a common hydraulic source - that ensures they're loaded equally. Watch them come down when you start leveling - the one closest to the pump (the intermediate jack) will usually start dropping first, followed by the rear jack. By sharing a common hydraulic supply, the intermediate and rear jack on a given side are self-compensating - if the front of the 5th wheel is raised, the rear jack (being just behind the wheels) will compress only slightly, and the intermediate jack (being in front of the wheels) will extend slightly, keeping the pressure between the 2 jacks balanced. That's why there's no "intermediate" button - just front and rear jacks, and the intermediate jacks are part of the rear jack system.
No, you have nothing to worry about when returning the 5th wheel to the "unhitch" position.
