I have a Komfort 5th wheel with a Lipport pin box. The box is currently mounted in the lowest position on the pin box frame. I would like to move the pin box up one notch to reduce the distance between the trailer and the bed rail and level the trailer. The problem is that by moving the pin box up one notch, the pin box will hit the fiberglass shroud that goes around the box. There area I am talking about is a square hole cut in the fiberglass to allow the pin box to attach to the frame. There are several adjustment holes available but any movement up allows the pin box to hit the fiberglass suround in the front.. Is is possible to cut out the suround to give access for the pin box?
Here are a couple of pictures of the pin box. If I want to raise the pin to the next hole, the pin box will hit the front of the opening in the front cap. Does one cut the fiberglass to make the box fit?

I have the same issue with my 291FSG. It looked like the pinbox was moved down, but when we tried to move it, the fiberglass cap was a problem. I didn't feel like hAving it cut since I've had thoughts of changing pinboxes. Any chance you can post a pic so we can see if we have the same issues?
the fiberglass material is one solid piece that covers the underside of the bedroom area of the trailer. There is an opening for the pin box that is cut into this piece.
