My "Toy Hauler" refurbish...

I have an enclosed motorcycle trailer that I'm coverting into a mobile work room along with the ability to haul a motorcycle or two.

Lots more work was done on the trailer the last couple of days...

Floor and ceiling are done!





Built a couple of speaker cabinets today and got the TUNES hooked up. Sounds like a concert hall in this small space!

Haven't weighed it before and after. The trailer is rated to carry 1850 pounds.
I've added 1 sheet of 1/2" plywood @ 40 pounds, 3 sheets of 1/4 plywood @ 22 pounds each and 1 half sheet of 3/4 particle board @ 20 pounds for a total of 148 pounds. Think I'll be fine even with a 600 pound motorcycle, a few hundred pounds of lead and accessories.

I was using this trailer to haul machine tools for a while. Some weighing over 2500 pounds. I upgraded the tires to 15" "E" series and added brakes.

Should be good to go!

It looks like you're doing a first class refurbish.
Maybe I missed it but, are you doing a before and after weight check to see how much it changed?

Haven't sealed it yet. Waiting for a nice dry day. Semigloss water-based polyurethane.

Great job...well thought out. Didn't notice but I would guess you have sealed all that new veneer!
