Years ago, I traded in my Ford F-150 for a bigger GM truck. About 6 months after that I saw it one day at our local transfer station. I walked over to the owner and said, "that's my old truck". He asked me how I knew, and I showed him the one ding it had, in a very unusual place. I told him how I got it. He complemented me on how well I took care of it and the low mileage it had for its age (6 yrs).
It was nice seeing it.
