Our First Trip Out

Well, me and DW decided we would take the new camper for a small, close to home camping trip to test things out. So far, so good. The setup was easy enough and the truck did better on fuel than I thought it would. Considering the camper weighs 11000lbs, 12.5mpg isn't bad!
Everything that we have used in the camper seems to work. We have a few cosmetic items to be looked at, but once again, so far, so good.

EDIT It isn't tiny, I have been to places 1/10 the size of this and other places 10 or 20 times larger. I liked it a lot but 80 to 90% of the places I have stayed at deserved a return visit.

We stayed at the KOA East in Statesville. It is a small campground. They do have full hookups though. 50 amp service, water, sewer, and wi-fi, but no cable. They have a pool, small game room, small camp store, playground, and a lake for fishing. Just a nice quiet place to get away. The fire pits are nice, however we didn't use ours. We will go back.
