Popped off 2 cabinet doors already!!

OK....so we have our new awesome 5ther with slides....problem is the back cabinets come open when we drive over rough roads (not avoidable sometimes)....we CANNOT see the cabinets when we push the slides out, and voila! a cabinet door ripped off....we got the first one fixed with our punch list, but the second is all me to replace....we have a problem with many cabinets opening...is there a good mod or something we can do so that we ensure the cabinets stay closed?? No major biggie to put the door back on, but my wife is PISSED...and that is not good, as many of us know!! Don't want to tape it everytime we travel....just looking for a mod we can use with confidence....thank you!!!

I agree they shouldn't come open but I think we all have had issues and like the rest we find our own solution like already said I use a Bungie cord. I have three drawers that will always open even if there empty.

Go to any RV store and buy / install additional cabinet latches.

We move slide outs just enough to slip by and CHECK everything prior to fully extending them.

We hold our doors shut with little bungee cords. Inexpensive and Works well.

You can also put a lock on the inside, that is unless you can't get to the inside from a neighboring cabinet. Child locks in that case. Really there are a lot of ways you can go.

Velcro straps or the colored reusable ( kind of expensive ) twist ties from HD work well. We have a couple cabinets in our bedroom that dont like staying closed and that's what I use. Plus, I have a label by the slide button to remind me in case I forget to put them on.

Cabinets should not pop open unless you have something pressing against it!
That said bungie cords work great,

Where we have two doors, we use a Velcro strap around the handles. One cabinet, i have added one or two heavy duty magnetic catches to keep the door shut.
