I have a 2005 Jayco Eagle and I just noticed today that the power inverter fan won't stop running? Any ideas?

Thanks G

Yes!
I picked mine up late last week after 4 weeks of no sun and the parasitic draw coupled with them using power to test awnings, etc., all but killed the batterys and it took several days to recover

I woke up this morning and checked the converter in my RV and the fan is off and seams to be working just fine. I did check the battery and it seams fine as well. I picked up my RV at the dealer yesterday afternoon and it's been there for several weeks without being plugged in could that cause the fan to run as it charges the battery? I know it's takes a while to charge a deep cycle batteries so I'm guessing it could?

A perfect example of why a DC Amp Clamp is often more important than a simple DVM

Mine also wouldn't stop. I noticed a dead animal smell when I stepped out of the camper. It turned out to be my battery. It was boiling and hissing. The box was full of water. I put a new battery in and solved the problem. Check your battery.

Converter or inverter? Maybe you mean converter that provides 12V DC from 110V AC.

If the fan is running all the time you batteries are most likely bad and it is working overtime!

Chris

My mistake it's the converter behind the breaker panel. I'll check the battery first.
Thanks

This happened to me recently. Turned out that my emergency trailer brake had accidentally been pulled out.
