I am hoping to make it to Quartzsite in January. I am looking forward to the show and plan to take my Ranger 900 XP for some exploring. I am planning to dry camp in the BLM area while there, are there any special areas or locations where I should park my toy hauler and join other riders or groups for a little exploration? JH

If you're going to be around Feb. 14th - 16th, that's when the Desert Bloom ATV Rally is there. Here's some other events going on in Quartzsite Have fun! I know my sister and her husband always camp at La Posa South with an ATV. Imperial Sand Dunes is a pretty cool place to go too.

ANY of the BLM areas are good for exploring in a pickup or ATV.....We're camped at La Posa West......and just explored Scadden (?) Wash area......and the hills beyond it. 🙂 Our two requirements on where we camp: 1) not near any highway (Hwy 10 is particularly noisy) and 2) back away from washes......:) 🙂 Have fun!!!

I pulled up a search and found the following you might find some good info here as a lot of non-toy hauler owners go to it.
