Do you really believe the unit has a 12 year warranty for labor and material on the roof?Good luck with that. There are numerous products out there for cleaning black spots, what caused them?Sap?I can't imagine using Tilex on your RV roof. You are serious or having fun with us,first post and mentioning lawyer.lol.

Walmart has Black Streak Remover...it's in the RV section in a black spray type bottle. Do a small section at a time and rinse, especially the sides of the RV; the remover is to strong for paint.

Mobile Suites still have a rubber roof, Elite Suites have the fiberglass roof.

I had the same problem on a motor home that had a fiberglass roof. Tried several products with no luck. Once mold sets up its hard to kill.

Diluted clorox solution for a few minutes, then rinsing, won't kill it?

Go to GoClean.com and look at roof cleaning tips. Send an email to Mary (Mary Moppins) and Sk her any question you may have. She recommends to roof manufacture's cleaner and protector or use powdered detergent with no extra chemicals. If you purchase at a whole foods store you can avoid wood fillers. Then use a medium stiff brush and scrub away. Tell Mary that Rob sent you. Good Luck.

the manufacture of the rubber roof recommended using tilex it has nothing to do with cleaning the roof we wash the camper from top to bottom 1 a month also the camper has a 12 year warranty on it

I'd use Spic & Span in a bucket of hot water and a scrub brush. I would never use Tilex on a rubber roof...EVER. A roof with black mold spots is better than a roof damaged with an inappropriate cleaner.

Forget the lawyer, his job is not to clean RV roofs, but to separate you from your money.

My DRV has a fiberglass roof.

Does your trailer ever get any sun?
Yep, actually drove to all of these places---in the last eight years. Missed Rhode Island and New Jersey.

Perhaps that lawyer advised him to buy a RV with a TPO or rubber roof?

Don't think a lawyer cleans roofs, any way none that I know of.
