The pins in the landing gear legs on my 5er are side to side.

Our new 5th came with factory installed JT Strongarms. Unless the aftermarket kit is different from the OEM kit I'd say your landing gear legs are correctly oriented for the Strongarms.
The lower arms attach to the back of the legs with the nut on the front of the leg. You'll have to enlarge the lowest hole to 1/2" for the through bolt if it's not that size already.
You may have to move your 5" fence post sewer holder as the arms may hit it when you have the gear retracted. Hard to say from your pictures.
Ours has the Snap-pins facing forward by the way.

I helped a buddy put JTs on his 5ver and his were rotated 90 degrees from what mine were. We simply put the "saddle" bracket on the front cross pieces instead of the back. worked good.
