Also don't forgot to check the Sounder commuter train schedule
If you camp up north. Try to avoid driving if you can. Getting downtown can be a bear on a good day, but even light rain will snarl the commute.

Casinos are also an option. Snoqualmie, Tulalip and Muckleshoot offer free dry camping with registration while farther north Stillaguamish (Angel of the Winds) and Swinomish (Northern Lights) have paid camping with hookups.

This is the best option IMHO. you can catch Amtrak at Stanwood. or camp at the Tulalip Casino in Marysville. and catch the Amtrak in Everett. But I don't see a problem driving the TV down town either.

There's also Wal-mart parking lot camping in the surrounding areas if you need a place to just overnight, but I wouldn't disconnect and leave your TH there.

Most of the parks in the Lynnwood/Mukilteo/Everett are within a few miles of my house and I wouldn't want to stay in most of them. Lake Pleasant in Bothell was recommended above and it would be my choice. Folks camp on the side of the street around here too if you want to be skanky. Depending upon your needs, you can overnight at Cabella's near Olympia on the south end or Tulalip on the north end.

Remember the Space needle is downtown. There is light rail all along the I-5 corridor to downtown.

Only if you're coming from the south. From the north, there's a few BRT lines like the SWIFT or the "E-Line".

There's quite a few RV parks in the Lynnwood/Mukilteo/Everett area but of the most of them are 100% full due the construction at Boeing.

When doing a search, be sure to do separate searches for both "Campgrounds" and "RV Parks". Not all sites show up on both searches. I was lucky to find a space at North Sound RV Park because they only show under "campgrounds".

Wait, Boeing is expanding up there, but closing in So. Cal...interesting. (end sarcasm)

Dash Point Park in Federal Way. It may be tight for a 40' TH due to trees.

Last summer, we stayed at Lake Pleasant Campground.
Drove about a mile or 2 to the bus station.
Caught the express bus to downtown (senior price). Got off at the first downtown stop. Walked about 3 blocks to the Monorail station.
Took the Monorail to the space needle.

Best bet is the KOA in Kent you can jump on I5 and be there in no time - there are really not many campgrounds in the Seattle area. We have camped many months there over the past few years as our son lives by the airport in Kent.

I should have mentioned the city bus stops on the street in front of the campground and lots and lots of campers take it downtown

Not to many changes with RV parks near/around Seattle over the years. Except more in prices and traffic. Everything that turns up in a search for "Seattle" is 95% accurate as far as rv parks.
