Sailums again!

Any one heard of trailertiresandwheels on line? Great price on sailum and rims 235/80/16 ...$138.00 each?????

Same here, I got them local for about $645 out the door and they were 3 months old.

As said very doubtful Sailun would be very old.

After hearing their policy on age I just decide to check locally, and ended up with three month old tires, and a cheaper price then messing with online.

It was going to be around $720.00 after all was said ,and done getting them online. As said $635.00 locally out the door.

IMO Simple tire has a terrible policy on tire age. They will only guarantee a tire to be less then three years old . Stopped me right there. Granted ,very doubtful getting a tire anywhere near that old, but you never know.

Simple tire is a couple bucks cheaper, then you are looking at least $25.00 per tire for shipping, plus tax, plus mounting ,and balancing once received . Probably ending up around $720.00 when finished

I bought mine locally for $635.01 out the door or about $158.75 ea said ,and done. I was also able to see the date code on the tire BEFORE buying. Big O carries the Sailun, and quoted me the $635.00, got a Tire dealer that I deal with to match the price.

I was going to order from Simple tire, until told they cannot guarantee the age of the tire, only that it will be less then 3 years old. That was a show stopper for me.

Don't know what Trailer tires and wheels policy is, but I sure don't want an old tire. It would pay to shop around locally.

I had just put my 17.5's on and was ready to leave the following week for a trip. Left for work Monday and saw 1 tire very low ( received them Friday) .. took to my local tire guy and could not find a leak..

I Called Scott, knowing I had no time to swap, he sent me a brand new wheel/tire combo (overnight-free) with the understanding that as soon as I got back, I was to return the bad set to him..

Turns out there was a small crack in the wheel near the Schrader valve.

Scott made it right , and painless

Ditto-Went from 15" to 16" and bought 5 new tires and rims mounted and balanced. Delivered to campground. Told Scott I wanted tires no older than 30 days. He delivered

SimpleTire shows the 235/80-16 Sailun S637 for $136.99 + shipping. That's where I got mine a few years ago. They've definitely come down in price since then.
