Nowhere on Sailuns S637 webpages does it say the 235/85R-16 is a ST (special trailer) tire. The S637 tire line is and always has been a regional all position tire.
But what it does says is a quote from their web page;
*** All steel construction specifically designed for Trailer application only. ***
This is not a ST tire.
Americans have a hard time with the overseas way of designating a tire. Over there its called a all position tire nor do they have a ST designation or a LT designation.
.
I noticed that on their web page too. On the tires, however, it is ST235 85R16 and there is wording about it being a trailer tire only. If it wasn't so difficult to post a photo on here I would be happy to do so!

Depending on your rig, the HANKOOK F19 might be a viable option. Not a true G rated but an F (7.50R16LT) at 3330 lbs. HERE is a 2011 article. I have had good luck wit
h Hankook on my tow vehicle!
Does these Hankook need different rims to hold pressure too?
I need new tires and don't want to buy new rims .
The F rating (3330 lbs) is at 105 psi. Rims and stems will need to be appropriate for the higher psi.

They now are ST's instead of LT's just as someone on here had posted a while ago. They are also labelled "For Trailer Use Only", and have a rating of over 4,000 lbs each.

Strange, I ordered my Sailuns on a Friday and the tire shop had them by Monday. I just had them put on yesterday and they look really good. They are a really heavy well built tire. I would have bought the Goodyears but these Sailuns were half the price and look just as good. Time will I guess!
In Canada ?
