Seeking Clever ways to carry sewer hose

Hi Team,

It seems, for one reason or another, all the tried, true, and easy ways to carry the sewer hose will not work on our new RV (no bumper, hard to find places to secure pvc to carry, fuel tanks in way, generator exhaust in way, etc...)

So does anyone have any clever ways they carry the sewer hoses?

Thanks
Dan

Goducks10 and 2do have the same as I do. Farm supply to get 5" fence post 20 bucks appox, Lowe/Home depot for the end caps $6.00, 2 8" nails, and a scrap of metal (mine were free as I do HVAC) 1" x 24" need 2. 4 self tapping (drill point) screws. You will have less than 40 bucks. Give me a PM and will talk more with you and give you my cell number (that way I can send you pic's of step x step way. Had to drop cleanout side by 3" to clear siding on RV.

I didn't read any of the prior posts- but my first thoughts are a rubbermaid tote in the basement storage; with a lid, there is no odor.

Second is to use the PVC fence post mod, but just keep them in the truck bed. If you cut them to the bed's length, they wedge in nicely (though I still threw bungees over top to keep them from lifting any way).

Dan, take your hose and hook it to itself, then coil it in a shallow plastic tote, like the short ones you use for under-bed (in your house) storage.

Hi Lantley,

How did you mount the PVC to the I Beam?

Thanks
Dan

Self tapping bolts and a 6" galvanized pipe bracket.
Install was amazingly simple.
6" PVC can be pricey, however you can use 6" fitting to create a simple screw on cap. No need to create a door or lock cap from miscellaneous parts.

There must a way to mount the tube or fence post under the RV.
Post a pic of the underbelly and charge up your drill.

Mine has no bumper either.
Many have a molded in "bumper".

I have a open bay w/door that is over the
tanks. I found a small plastic crate that fits
and after I rinse the hose it collapses in a
circle and fits inside. I have a bungee cord
over it to make sure it stays.

I have 3-6" PVC pipes attached to my underside. They contain sewer hoses and fishing rods.
The PVC pipe can be mounted parallel or perpendicular to the beam

If you have a ladder could you mount something to it?

How is this for an idea ?

Get one of them 5" fence posts and mount as directed. Get another 5" fence post and cut it lengthwise at opposing corners. Slide the new L piece inside before the hose (or during) and use the L piece as a support for the hose when in use .

I used 6" diameter corrugated black plastic drain pipe, and attached it to the under frame of my MH with SS pipe clamps. The pipe itself is flexible and can fit around and conform to the MH framing. Rather than end fittings, I drilled holes at each end and dropped carriage bolts into the holes to keep the sewer pipe and fittings inside. Another advantage of the drain pipe is that it has drain holes to allow the sewer hose to dry.
