Do any of you open the side vents while driving to vent fuel fumes? If so, what do you do on dusty gravel roads?

I left them closed except the rear vent at the bottom R/S was open 1st notch...until we hit the dusty gravel road then I closed it. Everything was fine.

I have never opened those side vents, but I do crack open my forward side window in the kitchen area while I'm driving.

We full time in a TH with a Goldwing in the garage. I have no leaks, hence no fumes. I never open the vents.

I used them the first couple trips, then discovered I didn't have any fuel fumes so now I don't bother. If you're having fuel fumes, try to locate the source and deal with them at the source.

Put window air conditioner filter fabric inside the vents and they can be left open with minimal dust intrusion.

No, we don't. Tried it once for cooling and got way too much dust. We've never had fumes in it.

Havent noticed any more dirt or dust than usual but do carry a 18 Volt leaf blower with us and usualy blow out the trailerevery other day while in the desert.

I thought bringing the 18v leaf blower was a lil much, but everytime we get back from the desert I wish we had taken it. Next time!:)
