Im just curious of what everyones supply list is for their trailers? My wife and I just bought my parents toy hauler off them and just want to get it all ready to go on our first trip in about a month. Things like rubber gloves for hooking up the sewer line or blocks of wood is what I am looking for, thanks!

It may take you a couple of trips to figure out what you need to take but like the others have said take notes when you go and get it for the next trip. We don't really have a list we have been camping for years and have pretty much figured out what we need to take but the wife sometimes goes for overkill on stuff. I guess it is nice to have what you need than have to run out and get it after you get set up.

One thing I use almost every trip is a foam pad for kneeling down to lower landing gear, unhook dog's leash when he gets it stuck under trailer, etc. I am always in shorts and this saves my knees every trip.

I'm glad you mentioned step stool!
I'm 5'6" and can't reach half the lights in my toyhauler. Why the heck they didn't mount the switches remotely on the wall is beyond me? Just about worthless unless you have a long stick or a stool. If I really stretch I can reach the AC controls.

Full size folding table to cook on and put the cooler under. Keeps the kids from running in and out getting drinks. Deet, the most powerful Deet available. Spices on the spice rack and definitely Milo so when the water at the RV park is loaded with chlorine. Dried hash browns. Peanuts in the shell. My Weber Q200 with extra gas cans and grilling tools. One merlot in the wine rack. Ground coffee, sugar, and cream. Tylenol, Nyquil, Tums, and Zantac. What ever the toss in the toilet packs are called. Dinty More microwave dinners and lots of microwave popcorn in the microwave. Pam the spray, small cutting board, paper towels, paper plates, steel silverware, and a step stool. Citronella candle that is in a bucket from HD. Axe, hammer, torch with propane bottle for fires. One can of WD-40. I carry an extra spare tire along with the one under the trailer (lesson learned at the coast hitting a stud from broken curb and two flats). Small cooler to carry to the beach. One extra tail light (brake & turn). Several of my favorite DVDs (which I will use this weekend as it is raining). DS charger. Ear plugs for the wife. Stainless steel coffee cups from Coleman. Cheese and cracker packs. Band aids. Olive oil, cans of soup, and the most important things? A key to the toy hauler door in the truck and a key to truck in the toy hauler. I also have many of the other items already listed but I saw this stuff as I was packing up tonight.

Sandrail, gas, beer and frozen burritos...... I am GOOD TO GO!!!!!!!!!

We really need to work with you on your choice of what constitutes fine dining meals don't we? :B

HAHAHAHAHA. I am no chef that is for sure!!!!!!

Linc if you're like me, when I'm in the dunes I'm riding, not there to cook. Quick meals, no elabrate feasts unless it's T-day weekend, then I have to defer to the DW for that one.

All good suggestions, but I see no one has mentioned the toys, tie downs and straps to keep the toys in check when traveling and proper containers for fuel and other liquids.

Totally agree!!!!! I don't go to the dunes to cook and watch TV like some folks do. I see some trailers with satellite dishes and volleyball nets...... wow, don't understand that one. I am there to drive, drive, drive. On big weekends, I take 10 dump cans of gas, trailer and toys are all full. 120 gallons of gas on a long weekend.
I agree, when we are in Pismo or Glamis the last thing I want to do is watch TV. I come to camp to refuel the bikes and my body then its back out to riding!

The griddle is made for the Weber. Great for cooking large breakfasts.

I have a couple different checklists I keep and add to as the need arises. The toyhaulers main use is for archery hunting but in summer goes to the mountains camping with the family. The supplies vary according to the trip and I try to take a lot of the unneeded items out to save room and extra weight.

All good ideas, thanks! Does the griddle work with the Weber or is it a sepearte unit?

We have the trailer pretty stocked. Some of the things not mentioned. Lawn chairs folding tables lantern trash bags. the Ipod adapter wire and chargers. cleaning supplies a small vacuum. Tools to work on the toys plus the stuff that goes with them. Even a spare quad flag for the person that loses or forgets. Rain gear. We now have a rule that something must come off the trailer if something new is added. We have a check list for pre and make notes about the thrip like we need a .... or the campground sucked or these site are better. BTW we have the TV stoked with stuff it could need as well. In my younger days beer and doritos would cut it as supplies and forage for the rest
I like the notepad idea, I use one at my office for supplies. Now I will do the same for the Hauler.
