Hello--

I am looking for a brake controller for my truck in sig. The truck has never had a controller installed. I am considering the Tekonsha P3 based on various reviews around the internet and the reputation of Tekonsha. Is this controller as good or better than the others that are sold?

I will be towing the rig in my sig. Not that it will affect the controller, but I am also considering installing an Anderson Ultimate 5th wheel rail mount hitch.

BTW.....found this seller on eBay and the price can not be beat anywhere else that I have found.

I've got the P2 which functions exactly the same but not quite as fancy.
It works better than lesser controllers and lasts longer than the two voyagers I had before it. It also works in reverse which some dont do.

P3.............good brake controller. No reason NOT to use it.
Is it time for your medication or mine?

I had one on my F-150 and it worked. Can't say if other brands are better or worse. Newer trucks are an easy install since all you need is the right wiring harness and then it's just plug and go. But I suspect some wiring will be needed on a 1992 truck
