Once in a while I hear a squeal coming from the pannel inside my trailer where the fuses and electrical are. lasts for like a minute then stops. the belt appears fine. was very dirty inside, cleaned it but still have the problem. any suggestions? the power is working fine no diming of lights.

once you get the fan exposed squirt a little bit of WD40 on the motor, this should correct the problem.

On front of the cover panel should be slots for air.......behind that area will be a fan.
Fan is used to provide cooling air to converter.....they get hot

Fan is squealing.
Clean it up, blow it out with can of compressed air.....replace if necessary.

You are probably better off replacing the fan with the bad bearing. Lube is only a very short term fix. A new fan is only about $20 and will solve the problem for many years!

You will need to start by disassembly of the electrical compartment to the point that you find a converter/charger. It should have a fan on one end, and that needs to go someplace like Radio Shack or Grainger.com to compare your set up with what they have for sale. Pick something the same voltage and nearly the same size.

Good luck!

Sounds like the cooling fan on the converter is squealing. It comes on periodically as needed to cool the converter.
Not sure if you can lube it. Probably sealed but maybe you can carefully spray some lube on the fan shaft...
