Tiny Crack in Shower

Just noticed that there is a very small crack in the plastic shower by one of the screw covers near the top of the shower wall. Any ideas on what to use to stop the crack and repair what is there? I don't have a picture of it but you could call it a hairline crack about 3" long.

Drilling a small hole to stop the crack is good advice. Use any kind of sealer like silicone or Dap to seal it. Then buy a small adheasive plastic hook and install it over the crack. It's useful to hang wash cloths, scrubbing mit, etc. and hides the crack. On mine, I drilled 2 small holes in the plastic hook and hung it with stainless steel sheet metal screws. The crack is gone and the hook looks like it's supposed to be there.

I used clear Gorilla repair tape to stabilize mine. It is clear like packing tape but thicker.

I would say to drill the hole at the very END of the crack.

I think I should drill at the end of each crack and then either push the two pieces apart and glue or caulk it then let it spring back flat.

i had one in the bottom of mine at a screw hole. I used the almond/beige proflex to seal it up worked great. you can see it but it doesnt stand out as the color is a match to my surround.

Drill it and put a shower decal over it. Being way up high, it will be cosmetic. Loosen the over tightened screw.

First determine if the crack is just in the gel coat or does it go through the laminate. Also is the shower surround reinforced FG or a thermoplastic? The repair will be different based on your answers. If the crack is through the laminate I would drill a #40 hole at the end of the crack to keep it growing before you do any repair.
