Post photos of your Fifth Wheel on this thread. Any photo with a 5er in it is allowable; any brand, any year.

This thread is generally for Fifth Wheel photos only. But feel free to post comments on posted photos.

Because this thread is very long, I will occasionally clean it up by removing the older posts that do not have Fifth Wheel photos and other off topic material. Also, please limit photo width to 640 pixels by using: width=640. Please do not post thumbnail size photos, they are just too small to see.

Register at photobucket.com (free), download your pictures (takes a while), hi-lite and copy the URL, then use the "image" icon to paste the photo URL.

Hi everybody, I'm looking to buy a fifth wheel, hopefully by the end of the year. And I was just wondering if some of you would care to post some pics of your fiver.

You're coming from a 1/2t PU to a TRUCK. Gas vs diesel. I can't imagine you would be anything other than happy.

For towing, a gasser Tundra 'grocery getter' and a diesel 'truck' are not even in the same hemisphere.

Actually for the WindJammer 3065 with my Tundra, I couldn't have been happier. That thing had amazing torque, was geared right, and towed fantastic. I pulled from Albuquerque, up through Denver, made a right at Cheyenne, and then over to Indiana with that rig, and then back on Rt66. It pulled great.

Naw . . . depends on the park sites. Although we wouldn't take our rig and stay at Yellowstone's Madison CG (if it were open), we would stay at Bridge Bay. We've found a lot of FS campgrounds that we easily fit in. Enjoy!

Agreed. We've have found it can be tight but we haven't had a situation yet where it wouldn't fit. But I am using that book "Don Wright's Guide to Free Campgrounds" and we are avoiding the grounds which do state size limits smaller than ours.

A comfortable looking unit. To big to be able to stay in most state and national parks but you should be able to find RV parks in the surrounding cities (ie. West Yellowstone...for Yellowstone National Park, etc.).

Whatever, enjoy your US journey. Try to stay on the two lane higways and avoid the interstate freeways if you really want to see this country.

Hey Cloggy - what a super nice setup! You're going to have a wonderful time traveling the USA. Hopefully you will soon be able to get in to some of the national parks. Those in Utah are opening under state authority, just announced this morning.

Here is a picture of our set-up on the day we collected it. We have a 2002 Silverado 3500 and a 2008 Montana 3585SA. We are a New Zealand couple travelling through the US for a while (6 month to a year).
We've only recently started our trip and are currently in North Carolina around the Smoky Mountain National Park.

Yep we are liking it a lot and it is definitely a step up from our last 5'r.

I picked up some fly tying materials and steelhead hardware and a few household type gifts for the relatives.
