I'd like to give a huge THANK YOU to Brad, the Moderator over the Truck Campers forum for his assistance with this thread.

Thanks also to RVcrazed51 for his request for this thread.

Post photos of your Fifth Wheel on this thread. Any photo with a 5er in it is allowable; any brand, any year.

This thread is generally for Fifth Wheel photos only. But feel free to post comments on posted photos.

Because this thread is very long, I will occasionally clean it up by removing the older posts that do not have Fifth Wheel photos and other off topic material. Also, please limit photo width to 640 pixels by using: width=640. Please do not post thumbnail size photos, they are just too small to see.

Register at photobucket.com (free), download your pictures (takes a while), hi-lite and copy the URL, then use the "image" icon to paste the photo URL.

Hi everybody, I'm looking to buy a fifth wheel, hopefully by the end of the year. And I was just wondering if some of you would care to post some pics of your fiver.

thanks
I had it made, cost 400.00
yes I took off the tow hooks and bought two receivers from harbor freight @ 11.00 each. welded a plate on back with same hole pattern.
the whole thing comes apart for removal.
I plan on coming out the receivers about 14" so I can mount the motor on it for travel.
if you only have a canoe, this is overkill. you could get a T setup for front of truck, and then get 1 Yakama kayak setup to put on top of cab.
I don't like the T setup because of movement. you also would need to buy a front hitch. I am sure it is cheaper to put in the receiver setup I have and a lot stronger

I like your boat rack. Did you weld it up or buy it? That looks like two receiver hitches sticking out the front bumper? We have a canoe that we've been trying to figure out how to take camping and you've given me a nice template to look at. Thanks!

You can put a little of that weight on the front axel of your truck with a cross bed tool box. Delta makes one that matches the white and sets below the bed side rails. Here's a pic of it (I removed the "Delta" decal) in the bed of my 12 Super Duty FX-4....

It's all about the journey...not the destination!

Hey jcain, Nice rig and the specs on that 6.7 are impressive. I bet it doesn't have any trouble pulling that Avalance. ๐Ÿ˜„

Definitely no issues regarding power. Might have to go drw though if I keep adding junk in the trailer though.

Thank you, I Haven't towed it yet.... I Had my stroke ( Aug. 19th), 1 week after closing the deal on the TH and it's STILL at the dealership...Truck has been hooked up to the TH on level pad and it looks good and I've probably had the longest PDI in history ๐Ÿ˜„ Dealer has been really good to us and allowed us to keep there until I can get it moved.

Hi all,

Just introducing myself and my setup. Both truck and trailer were bought new in the past few months. This is my first rig and I'll soon be moving into it as a full-timer. I've been reading these forums without posting for a few months and they've been invaluable in getting prepared.

Very nice combo, wish you many years of enjoyment with it.
