It's always been a dream to go full time in the rig but I never expected to. Still the mods made were with long term thinking in mind and it's about as boondock worthy as it's going to get.

This last year has been a whirlwind but the gist is I am being forced to retire due to health and if all goes as planned I should be hitting the road in the new year. I have a lot to do in a few months, so I will need the rest. lol

I look forward to learning from those that have been there.

I've been on the road since 1/1/17. I stayed at the rest stop just past Raton pass the first night. Stayed in Albuquerque the next to pick up a 435w panel and then went to the Bosque bird watchers RV park for dewinterizing after that. Decided to stay a few nights to decompress and then a few more just because I have never had full hook ups.

While there the owner told me he wanted to sell the place and travel. I told him any number of people would trade a site to take care of the place. As I was getting ready to leave I stopped to tell him I was going and he made me a offer I couldn't refuse. I return after the beginning of the month to take over the place in a well paid position. So much for retirement. lol

Right now I am in Quartzsite to attend two rallys where I will give a talk about solar cooking.

The market here is as hot as ever so it's a good time to get out. I'll be pulling out in the dead of winter so it will be a even better time to get out. lol

One thing I have to work out is water. I can de-winterize it and blow it dry. That way I could fill the fresh tank before I leave and wait till it's warm enough to fill the lines and the hot water heater.

Enjoy it. We FT'd for 8 years and got back into a house. Thinking about doing it again now that real estate has gotten crazy here again. I miss many parts of the lifestyle.

Thank you. It does suck, I started my company 30 years ago, then again after 30 years I am kinda glad someone else pulled the plug.

Now for more packing, more packing and yes, more packing. 🙂

Thank you both.

I really look forward to seeing THIS country. I've traveled enough to know that one third world country is just as depressing as the next and spending more doesn't always mean better. They are just charging you more for the same disappointing results.
