Did any of you have someone inspect the motor home for you prior to purchase?

We bought the exact model and year you are looking at. We liked the layout and the engine/tranny had a great reputation. We are going through it now and making it our own. As someone else has pointed out, there were a few recalls on the chassis so be sure those are done. Also, check the date codes n the tires to see if they are the originals. If so, you should think about replacing them. We just did and went with Toyo's for around $2,600 out the door.

Good luck

The Vortec 8.1 is no longer an option. The Workhorse chassis is no longer in business. With that said there are a lot of them out there and the parts and repair will be around for many years to come. We have had ours for going on 9 model years and it is a great combination. I would have no problem buying it.

The 8.1L and the Allison transmission is a great combination. There were a few recalls on the WH chassis so just make sure they are done and then the chassis should be trouble free. If the floor plan works for you and the price is right, it will be a good coach.
