We're looking at the subject motorhome and have some questions the dealer couldn't answer.

Is there an air jack in a front compartment? I think there is one near the hitch in back, but I didn't see one forward.

Is there a way to induce a fast idle? On my truck I can use the cruise control.

Is there an auxiliary propane connection standard from the factory? I didn't see one, but the brochure said something about prep for one.

Thanks for your help.

Drove subject HR home today and discovered the Carefree door awning is very sturdy. Also discovered the only 2 outlets not powered by the inverter are the outlets we need on the inverter.

There should be both a male and female quick disconnect, and an air drain port for air in the generator compartment. There is also an air drain port near the trailer hitch.

2005 HR Endeavor 40PRQ .... Air valves are in the generator compartment, on the passenger side. There is a T in the LP line at the point where the rubber hose connects to the black pipe in the LP compartment. You can add a quick disconnect, as we did. Others have explained the way to induce a fast idle on a Monaco coach. You are looking at a very good coach with an excellent reputation. Good luck.

On mine, although it's a Monaco;

I have a smart wheel. To set the fast idle, turn on cruise, press the "set" button for fast idle. Pressing it again will increase the idle, pressing the "res" button will decrease the idle.

Not sure what you mean by air jack, as that can mean many things. Monaco did not use lanyards on their air tanks. You should have a relief valve in the rear compartment on the driver's side and another in the genset compartment on the passenger's side. Next to it will be an 'innie' air chuck for adding air so your brakes can be released for towing. To add air to your tires etc. you should have an 'outie' air chuck just above the propane tank on the driver's side. Finally if you're looking for an air compressor for your air leveling system, mine is in the back above the drive axle. Monaco began in 06 to move that to the front passenger side because of the hum it makes when activated. People complained it bothered them while sleeping.

Mine has no aux hookup for propane.

FYI, get the VIN off the coach you're looking at and call Monaco tomorrow at 800-509-3417. If you can't get the VIN, get the coach number which will be stamped on the RVIA sticker on the outside by the front door. They will be able to email you the build sheet on THAT particular coach so you'll know exactly what it came with. They also have all the serial numbers on everything put on and in it. Good info to have....Dennis

On my 08 endeavor the front air jack is inside the generator compartment on the passengers side. To access it I have to open the generator compartment. Fast idle is turned on by using the cruise and resume buttons. I have no aux propane connections on mine.

Should be two under the R front bumper. One a tank drain the other to put air into the system when towed.

Fast idle by turning on cruise and press increase or press throttle for RPMs, set by pressing resume on smart wheel. If no smart wheel then there should be a separate switch on the left.

Not standard but there should be a T in the line although it may be on the wrong side.
