We purchased our 2016 Leprechaun 319DS (Ford chassis) in August of this year, and have nearly 3,500 miles on it so far. Like others, we loved the layout and that's what sold us.
Handling is excellent. We've crossed the Continental Divide in it several times, over a dozen mountain passes, and from rural roads to interstate highways, and are very pleased. Mileage is around 9 mpg for us, and we rarely exceed 60-60 mph. Strong cross winds are felt, but have not been an issue, nor blasts from passing semis.
We got the heat pump air conditioner, which I highly recommend if you camp in cool weather. Even nights in the low 30's have been no issue for the heat pump, and we avoid using our propane to run the furnace. We have the outdoor package, too: TV, sink and table, 2nd fridge, and have put it to good use.
We also got the convection microwave oven, in addition to the traditional gas oven, and wife likes it a great deal. Faster baking, etc. Too, we got the swivel cab seats, and though they are close to the floor, they still provide a nice additional and useful seating area. The unit has the Leprechaun Banner Package, and the luxury package, and a few other options.
And, it rides more like a car than a truck/RV, and the Firestone air bags really settle it down. Fully loaded, with full tank of gas, wife and our dog, roughly 20 gallons of water in fresh-water tank, and all the MANY other things we have brought aboard, we weigh in at just under 14,100 pounds. Acceleration onto interstate on-ramps is effortless, and the two side cameras are a nice feature (as well as the rear camera).
Overall, we couldn't be more pleased. Were there some minor quality issues? Yes, but nothing so far that I couldn't handle myself. A word of advice, if I may: If you do purchase, pay close attention to everything the tech tells you during your walk-through, and ask every question you can think of -- the "Owner's Manual" is generic, and virtually worthless to the coach.
Hope this helps!
