Age and RV

I was wondering if there was a direct coalition between how old we are and what we own for an RV. Is it tents and TTs for younger people, Gassers and 5ths for middle agers and C's & DP for the older crowd? Are there any trends here?

So I put this out in the name of research...... How old are you and what is your RV?

I am 48 and have a 2005 Class A Gasser.

OK been at since I was 6 year old.......no kiddin! My Mom and Dad bought 1st Coleman pop-up I ever seen in 1969. It was avocado green aluminum box with plastic / Styrofoam roof. Had 1st RV for my kids which was another Coleman at age 35 then a 30ft TT at 40 and now a 40ft DP at 50. our 05 DP meets our expectations and since I do all my own work on both chassis and house we will be in this one for a while then maybe 1 more DP probably DP. Then either star back down or stop, but we are talking 2 generations of RV'g any way you slice it.......an old picture of Mom and Dad maybe 40 year ago standing at the door of that old Coleman goes with us everywhere.
Thanks,

Wonder how being posted on the Class A forum will skew the results???

I always figured I was on the young end of this forum, but wow....

32 - Class C

The Class A "population" responding to the survey is biased because most younger folks can't afford a Class A and may not read the post.
Posting this question under General RV'ing would sample from the overall population of RV'ers, not just those that frequent the Class A general topic forum. Sorry, too many Stat classes:R

Many responders have listed not only their current age/ownership, but their history of RV ownership. This is a Great topic, and the results are fine.

Me: B, TT, TC, 5th, TT, C, contemplating A...

As the OP I would be ok with this post being moved to a general location. I just don't know how to do it.

Me 52 DH 53 as finances permitted and as kids grew and pets arrived. Started with a tent, small pop up, larger pop up, a hybred, small TT, just traded in the 31' TT for a 32' Gas A. It is amazing how there is more money than month when the kids graduate college and get married. :B
