Was just wondering, we are planning on going over to Pahrump from Bakersfield. Was just wondering what the Highways 127 & 178 we're like or would we be better off staying on I-15 till Vegas and take Highway 160.

We'll make the trip in a 45 Class A with Towed

Thanks everyone

Trap, so what motorhome did you eventually purchase? and the towed?

I have missed your questions (and you did ask a lot) about different brands/models.

There's a couple of nice establishments just outside of town on the North side. I think they raise rabbits there because I think one is called a Bunny Ranch! I've heard you don't want to bring your wife if you go there but I don't know why.

Well DW just happened to see this, so I'm betting I will be on a real short leash while we are in Pahrump:W

All she has to do is take your credit cards away and make sure you have no cash. You won't get far in one of these places without money.

Actually, at least one of the ranches does tours! We were there a few years ago with the Fleetwood Motorhome Association and we had a great time on the tour!

Might do a trip over there and check it out.

Looked up Art Bell...interesting. There's a fellow named Hoagland with some interesting ideas too, no relation to me!!

Death Valley is really pretty in the spring, around Easter, when the flowers all come out for a brief time.

Good road all the way. And Pahrump is an interesting small town. We were there about one month ago. Now is a good time to visit Death Valley. We usually stay at Terribles Lakeside RV park or at the RPI across from Pahrump Nugget casino.

I assume you are talking about taking 127 out of Baker up to 178....correct? If yes, that's a good road, and you shouldn't have any problems with it. I would go that way rather than all the way into LV.

Are you contemplating going through DV at all?

Ron

Thanks Ron we are planning to do a day trip to DV and check it out.

There is also a nice sports bar with a little diner on the south side. Friends of ours said they were taking us us the the Brothel for lunch and, like a fool, I thought it was a bar and grill with a brothel theme. Well I was sort of right and it was entertaining when they took all of us for a tour. Nice place, good food, drinks, and scenery.

Stayed at Terrbiles Lakeside.
