Just saw a electric BBQ on QVC,has anyone had success with this type of BBQ?

Its hard to beat the Weber Q series of gas barbecues and I see they now offer an electric version.

Grill

We have had a George Forman (round ) Electric grill for the last 5 years and it works great.Gets VERY hot if you want it too. Has a ribbed solid surface teflon like grill> Plugs into the outside patio plug and keeps the smoke etc outside No flame easy clean up. We also carry a small charcoal grill for some occasions but the electric gets used the Most.

We use one of the small portable two burner propane grills that we purchased years ago. It is stainless steel and uses the small green propane bottles and has plenty of room for two large steaks or several burgers for the two of us. When done it folds up and easily fits in the basement compartment. The propane bottles are available at any Walmart and the entire grill is available from several manufacturers for less than $100. The burners put out enough heat to make our useable even at high altitude in the Western mountains.

I just picked up this pellet smoker a few weeks ago to take in the RV. The legs fold up and are used as a carry handle. I have used it at home a few times and works great. Cooked hamburgers,filet mignon,smoked chicken and smoked salmon. Going to try a pork butt maybe this weekend. Will run on 12v or 110



We also carry this three burner stove and accessories.

If an electric "grill", I would pass on it. I had an electric grill and it did not perform well at all. If and electric "smoker (BBQ), then it might work out well.

Electric smoker worked fine, I liked it a lot, but an electric grill was not hot enough and lasted one or two tries only. Of course I have no idea what you saw.
