Electric Plug in question

When I plug my motorhome in at home using the 110 outlet I always get an arcing sound, is there something I can buy to plug into my wall outlet to use as an on off switch or some other solution to stop the arcing.Thanks

Pigtail for Bulb and socket wiring kit
