I always thought the salon bunk in the Sportscoach 40rb was pretty neat. It's like a 12 foot bunk that 2 people could sleep end to end and the dinette and sofa still offer sleeping below. When the salon bunk is up, you can't even tell it's there.

My problem with Class A bunkhouses is that they always seem to put the bunks right next to the bedroom. Sleeping 6 in a MH with any sort of privacy is going to be next to impossible. Technically you can do it in a variety of configurations, but privacy...The other consideration is the number of seat belts for all these passengers. Have you looked at FW's?

Two 50+ Adults (who would like privacy at bed time. Wink wink)

1 - 16 year old boy who always brings a friend
1- 14 year old girl who always brings a friend

Have heard there is NO privacy with bunks.

First up is put the boys outside in a tent. For the girls a coach with a cab over bunk should work but check the weight limits. Puts them 30 feet away from the master bedroom. In two years when the son is 18 and off at school the girls can then move outside and into the tent.

Some of the toy hauler Class A coaches have drop down beds in the rear "garage" portion that is also used as a separate bedroom.

Many plans will hold that many people, especially a bunk house. The problem is hanging space, pantry space and general kitchen space and sitting space. One thing Iโ€™ve always looked forward to is have 6 people in my coach with actual room (in consideration to what I said earlier) for maybe 3.

My point is to look at the entire picture. Think on the basis of โ€œWhat if it rains for three daysโ€?

What you need is a rear bunk room with 4 singles. I don't think I have ever seen a Class A set up this way !

The answer is 3 Rvs for 6 adults.
For 2 parents and a bunch of kids, a bunk house 3 deep works well.

You can encourage independence even in young kids by having them sleep in tents. Then Mom and Dad can have privacy.

Describe the intended sleepers?

For example-
Two adults and four 12 and younger children.
Three adult couples.
Two couples and two teenagers.
Six guys.

My favorite is in my signature but it will only sleep one adult couple comfortably.
