Bubble in Roof

Was on top or our C taking the cover off and noticed a bubble about 2" wide and 14" long. How do you fix this? Do you cut it and try to put some kind of glue inside and then "E" tape over the top or what. Thanks folks

If the roof is otherwise sealed, then you are fine. Don't cut your EPDM roof unless you absolutely have to.

The roof is 13 years old but in good shape. I'm sure there is not a warranty on it anymore.

Careful on cutting and regluing... it might be that the roof is still under warranty, and you might be able to get it fixed right at no cost.

Yes cut open the bubble clean with a quality primer and apply some epdm adhesive. Press roofing into the adhesive working air towards the pentration that you made. then apply seam tape on slice.
The bubble was most likely caused by a pin hole where mosture was able to get in, make sure you repair that pinhole. The most inportant part is the prep, make sure it's clean and dry before placing adhesive

My advice is free but I do consider donations
