Camping World Service - Woodstock, GA

The dealership we bought our MH from has gone out of business (Bleakley). Has anyone used the service center at Camping World in Woodstock, GA? I would appreciate any service reviews good or bad.

FYI - our dash A/C needs service. I have tested the pressure levels, suspect the compressor needs replacement.

Call Marietta radiator and a/c on Glover st. 770-428-7120. great service on all a/c service. If you insist on a rv shop. Three Way Campers on hwy.41. Marietta. Its a old family owned rv dealer with good service.

I concur with both of these recommendations. The only thing I would add is that Three Way does NOT do chassis work and the dash AC would fall in that category.

I had the chassis AC on my 1990 Winnebago fixed by Marietta Radiator in 2010. It worked fine for about 3 years or so when it needed to be recharged again. I don't put that failure o on them as they only needed to change the compressor and the RV was 20 years old then. I was actually surprised it didn't need more and I was expecting it to only last 1 season and I got 3. I have since sold it (and never did recharge it). I also had my radiator replaced (recored) by them at the same time. They were reasonable and everything on the cooling system worked perfectly after they did the work and worked well when I sold it as well.

I've also had many many things done over the years by Three Way and they've always done quality work at a good price. I give them my recommendation.

you need to find out what was the dealer "before" Camping world took over all the independents and turned them into Camping world..

Such as: Camping world in Chattanooga...it was formerly Shipps...great place the last time I was there...The camping world in Woodstock and Oakwood...they were part of the Camping Time that was formerly in Snellville...well...I will let that one go..

RV World of Georgia...in Buford, Ga. ....heard good things about them ..never been there.

Can't comment on the CW in Woodstock, but I can second Apalachee RV service. We've used them for several items, including fixing a botched job by Camping World (Byron) and they are great! Assuming you don't go with an AC specialist, give Apalachee a call.

We have used CW in Woodstock and had good service. Did not involve our A/C though. We also use CW in Chattanooga. lizzie

For anything related to RV service, including chassis work, consider Appalachee RV Service in Auburn, GA (close to Lawrenceville). They will do it right the first time. May be a little more than the other guys, but having it done right is worth it. Call them 770-868-0999

I would not take my lawn mower to Camping World for service.

X2 on Appalachee RV Service, considered them.

Not X2 on blanket statement of CW's in Atlanta aera, no first hand experience here.

Have a friend who has had good success with Woodstock, & not so good success with Oakwood.

AC work is a very specific field, I would only trust it to a shop that regularly does that kind of work.

I really think if someone wants to take a shot at camping world we need to be specific as to what the issue was and where the work performed. I have had some good service from Camping World in Madison dealing with satellite installs, plumbing etc. Not engine related but general coach where I purchase and had an install. I am happy to have a camping world. I am not thrilled with the one in Orlando although I have not had any work done as I lost confidence in the initial discussion and concluded they had no clue. This could have been just a bad service intake employee.

TC,

Another resource to check is (www.rvservicereviews.com).

I would think finding a shop that specializes in your chassis would be a place to go. Like a Freighliner, Spartan, Cummins, etc., shop.

I looked up on the site and found Atlanta Specialty Vehicles that got excellent reviews.

Good luck,

Why not call a few auto AC shops and see if they will work on your coach?
