This is Cooper Tires 100th Anniversary 1914-2014, they started making tires in Findley Ohio in 1914, along with hoses and other various rubber products. They sold out to the Chinese in 2003 and now have a lot more brands that they make including Mickey Thompson and Avion. I've never ran any of there tires on my vehicles so I can't comment on there ride, but I have friends who run them and there quite happy with the price and there performance.

Copper would be expensive to make a tire. And it would get green with oxidation.
