Diesel prices finally falling !!

Gas prices have been falling the last couple of months.........down well over a dollar a gallon....yet diesel has held steady, at least in this area. Finally, diesel has started falling. Checked at our local Flying J and it's down about 20 cents from just a couple of weeks ago. Hopefully it will continue.

This is good news for my next trip south, but not so good for the Canadian economy. The US dollars cost around 1.18 canadian, for example, @ 3 dollars a US gallon, it comes to around 3.54 canadian for me, this translate to somwhere around .93 cent a litter. Diesel is around 1.10 in Toronto and Calgary, 1.25 in Quebec. This summer I paid between 4 to 6 dollars a gallon going to Alaska. When going south the last few years, fuel came to an equivalent of about 1.10 to 1.20 a litter.

My local Costco has reg unl gas for $2.03 with an Amex credit card and you don't have to be a Costco member.

Was just in Yuma and saw $2.99 for diesel, with gas still at $2.55 most places here.

WE just filled up our beast at, $2.91 last night here in Lake Havasu AZ. That's the first time I've paid below $3.00 since we bought the big lady over 3.5 years ago. While some of you have enjoyed a bit lower prices, that's an outstanding price for us. Sure is nice.

several places here in central NC have diesel at $2.99----one place is at $2.92 cash. And dropping!

According to the Gasbuddy site, there are places at 2.79 and many at 2.99 in Tumwater. Some at 2.99 in Golden.

Saw diesel for $3.19 at the Chevron station here yesterday. Gas actually went UP 5¢ the first of the week, but dropped 3¢ yesterday.

The Flying J in Tumwater is sitting at $3.35 less my GS card discount or $3.27 and I usually top off there when I'm heading south and fill up when I'm heading home north to Silverdale. Here in Bremerton, the Costco gas price is $2.25 for gas and the attendant there said they are going to build a new fueling station and include diesel. The local,Silverdale, Safeway is at $2.43 for gas and $3.19 for diesel

Here in tyler texas the price went to $2.78 a gallon. the cashier said the owner thought it would drop close to 20 cemts more.All we can do is hope.

$2.29 per gallon at a few stations here in Portland Or. Their is a chevron station not to far away for $3.73. That is about $1.40 cents a gallon more. He will probably be sitting on that fuel for a while.
