Electrical System Restarted Continuously

When plugged into a 15A circuit with the 30A to 15A converter and running the A/C, after about 3-5 minutes, the entire system starts restarting until I turn off the A/C.

I also hear a fan running under the circuit breaker panel.

I have no clue what is happening, but obviously it isn't normal. Any thoughts?

If the voltage is good, I might check the start and run caps. It is also a good excuse to add a hard start kit to make starting from a generator easier.

If running the a/c, you should have a minimum of 20 amp circuit.

Hi,

The fan may be the converter trying to recharge the "house" battery bank.

Restart may indicate a low voltage situation. My comfort level is 109 volts or above when running the air conditioner.
