F53 ride height

What is the proper front ride height, from rubber bumper to frame? In my search for a newer MH they all have the straight axels rather than the IFS that I have on my old one. I notice some have several ins and some have none. Should the ride height be different depending on the wt of the chassis? The chassis in question is a 2009 Ford F53 22k.

So which dimension is the ride ht for a 22k chassis with a WB of 208 ins? The diagram is too blurry to read.

I use the first chart, just depends on what place you are measuring.

K=30.5 Front wheel
L=32.9 Rear axle

No my old MH was a Chevy.

The Chevy or Workhorse chassis made the P-32 or P-30 chassis.

I am not sure Ford F-53 had the IFS, thought it was a P-32 chassis that offered that so don't expect one on a Ford, the 22k will have 22.5 tires/rims and will ride a little higher than those with 19.5 tires/rims.

Concerning the Ford F53 chassis ride height, measured from the frame to the ground or from the frame to axle is going to change with each make and model of coach based on the weight of the house built on it. Coach loading by the owner will further change the measurements. Ford never produced the chassis with an independent front axle and never included any means to adjust the ride height to compensate for loading.

There are aftermarket suspension modification kits available that can run from a few hundred to several thousand dollars. If you have the budget -

Whether tire height makes a difference depends on what two points are used to define ride height.

If ride height is from some point on chassis to some point on axle, tire size would not be relevant.

If they gave a measurement from point on chassis to GROUND, indeed tire size would be relevant.

Sorry, don't have the specs for the F53.
