After really enjoying our Class B Roadtrek 210 Popular for over seven years we decided we needed a bit more room and started looking at Cs (or B+ to those that prefer the term for certain models). Previous to our Roadtrek, we had a Gulfstream BTCruiser for a few years.

We got down to about four or five different coaches that interested us and met our needs and had pretty well decided to spec out a 2350 Phoenix Cruiser and get exactly what we wanted. Several members of this forum had PCs and we had read a lot of posts about them. So, we played around with the PC website as to colors, options, etc. Also, for the last many months, I have checked on used PCs on all the usual for sale sites and was perfectly willing to fly anywhere to get what we wanted if we found it.

Lo and behold: suddenly a PC came up for sale on Craig's list (which I very, very seldom read or watch) for Oklahoma City. Would you believe, the exact model and pretty well all the specs we would have wanted and a couple we would not have paid the "extree" to buy: full body paint being the best example. I called the seller and couldn't believe it: the unit was three miles from our house! Turns out the seller and I had some mutual acquaintances. We made a deal and now we own a 2013 Phoenix Cruiser 2350, Ford, with 7500 miles on it. The owners recently retired and just got into rving. They decided they wanted to try something bigger.

So, after many years on the B forum, I look forward to learning from all you folks on the C group.

Just a thought - I think when a lot of folks see 'PC', they think 'Personal Computer', not 'Phoenix Cruiser'. "Full body paint" got me back on track. ๐Ÿ™‚
Retired and visiting as much of this beautiful country as I can.

Checked out all the systems today. Not an easy task anytime but it was 97 degrees here and hot as heck on the driveway. I can attest to the worth of the AC......worked very well. Using a digital thermo it read 48 coming out of the unit. I was surprised how comfy it kept the PC sitting there hooked to shore power in our driveway.

All seems to work and like any rv seems to have its own peculiar little switch positions and layout of some stuff. I made a few minor adjustments on some hinges and will fully service everything in a couple of weeks when it cools off. I have found over thirty years of rving that maintenance and watching after stuff is the key to having fun on trips. I am just getting too old for surprises or hassles.

So far, I am very impressed with the construction of the Phoenix Cruiser, just as I thought I would be. The most amazing thing is how much easier it is to inspect than the Roadtrek. Bs are marvelous but obviously much more compact and sometimes require an acrobat to contort into a position to get to something. Like the add used to say "have you driven a Ford lately?" No. But this E350 drives and handles very, very well. I am really pleased. I have owned an E450 in the past with good results.

It is great to buy something and be this pleased with the product. We can't wait to take it out to a nearby place for a couple of nights for a shakedown cruise. We mostly boondock so probably will run out in the woods someplace and see how everything works.

This thing is so "nearly new" that the previous owners didn't even take the clingy plastic that protects the control panels off of several things. And some of those advisory tags are still hanging on.

Our weather is running about ten degrees above normal, so all we need is for that to settle down a bit and off we go for the shakedown.

So far, Phoenix Cruiser has earned their good reputation in my opinion.

When you get those kinds of coincidences, you know it's the one for you.

I think you'll like that rig a lot. We will be interested to hear you compare and contrast it to having a B. Well, I will, anyway.
Currently RV-less but not done yet.

That sounds great and points out the reason when one gets well informed their options to get what they want at a great price improves. ๐Ÿ™‚

This is true where you are looking in the $10K, $100K, etc price range.
