Help! No power to Jenn-Air cooktop

This doesn't make sense. I have a Jenn-air cooktop in my 09 Fleetwood excursion. The outlet it is plugged into isn't getting power.

I know this because there are two outlets under the sink: one for the dishwasher and one for the cooktop. If I switch the plugs, the cooktop works and the dishwasher won't power on.

The EMS is working fine. I tried using the generator but still no power.

We're on 50amp shore power and I can't think of a reason why it's not getting power. I checked and cycled the breakers and it's not that.

Any thoughts??

Quick update on this: according to intellitec there's most likely an energy management select switch somewhere near the washer since the circuit is a 15amp circuit and wouldn't be ale to handle the dryer and washing machine at the same time:

Did you check the breakers on the INVERTER itself?
These are not the ones in your main electrical breaker box. They are right on the inverter and I'd suspect that one of them has tripped.

I haven't checked that, but I did confirm one thing: the outlet is shutdown when the washing machine is on. Power returns when the washer/dryer completes its cycle.

I'm starting to suspect something is up with the EMS

Did you check the wiring at the dryer outlet? If you had any connections made with wire nuts, did you remove the wire nuts to check the actual connections?

Outlet box looks good. Nothing wrong there. It seems like the power ***** off to the outlet when the dryer is on.

The dryer is off right now and the outlet is getting power without issue.

I can pull the main breaker box.

Other ideas?

On and off at random sure sounds like a loose wire or other loose connection. Check the connections to the outlet and also at the washing machine outlet that it's fed from. Hopefully it's not some intermediate connection that you'd have to trace out and find.

I'd strongly suggest finding and fixing the problem as soon as practical. A loose wire is or can easily become a fire hazard.

I'm going to pull the receptacle tomorrow am to take a look at the wires. The only other thing I can see possibly happen is the ems is shutting it down when the dryer is running?

I don't see how that's possible, i'm going to pull the outlet and see what's going on.

I bet one of those outlets isn't on the inverter and one is and you snapped the inverter breaker..You say you have two outlets..are they together? or two one piece outlets?...if two one piece outlets, go check your inverter for a blown circuit breaker..

They are two separate receptacles. One for the stove and one for the dishwasher.

Now I got the stove working by plugging it into the right receptacle.

Now the dishwasher is plugged into the non-working receptacle that is on the same line as the washing machine. I verified by looking at the breaker box then killing the breaker.

Now hers the weird part. It comes on and off at random

Sigh. This gets weirder

My RV dealer recently installed a new dishwasher. When they did this, they reversed the plugs. The dishwasher was plugged into the plug that is marked for the stove and vice versa.

Ok so cooktop comes on now,but not the dishwasher.

Here's the really weird part: the dishwasher and the washing machine are on the same circuit. The washing machine is now on but not the dishwasher

Look for loose wire at breaker and outlet.
