Hooking up Directv receiver

I have new direct tv receiver that has only rca hook up, my MH has coaxial hook up, and so does my sat dish. Which is the easiest and cheaper way to hook this stuff up. Thanks

My receiver was so old that we kept getting a message stating due to techogological miniumns, that it wouldn't receive signal in the near future. I callled DTV and they sent me a replacement non HD receiver, it came with coxial connectons, as well as hdmi & RCA plugs.
We changed it out in Aug 2013

I have an inexpensive box that I bought from Radio Shack a few years ago to do just what the OP needs to do. It takes the (RCA) Video and outputs it through Coax. The initial intent of this box was to use video games with the coax input on the TV. Unfortunately, I don't have the model number of the unit as I'm at work and the unit is in the MH. I checked the Radio Shack website, but couldn't find it. As it is this particular unit is a few years old, it's has probably been replaced with a newer, updated unit anyway. I'd have to think that if you stopped by a Radio Shack, they might have something on the shelf to do what you need to do.

OP, If what you want is to convert the receiver RCA output to coax input for the TV then there are a variety of converters available at electronic stores or Google. I use one at home with a coax to a kitchen TV. Mine was composite to coax and cost about $20. So cheap but not easy to run the coax but DW is happy!

Actually, if you look again, you'll see he is asking about coax input too as he talks about his Sat dish. I do think he's probably just confused as I have a new Directv box and in fact it does still use coax for the input from the Sat Dish and then for output you have a choice of HDMI, RCA, or S-Video. I'm sure the OP has the same.

I gave him the benifit of the doubt because ALL sat receivers use coax in.Its the new HD receivers which are starting to eliminate coax out.I read his OP and Iam pretty sure he talking about the TV wire system.Like I said in my first post unless he has HD Sat system and HD TV system there,s no point in this receiver and what,s "simple" and "Cheap" is to get the standard 69$ Digital receiver

I find it difficult to believe that it has "only" RCA hookups. Is this a bottom of the line SD receiver? It should also have S-video.

Also keep in mind, I'm upgrading all my stuff to digital and so I get a true HD picture at all the TV's. If you are not looking for a true HD picture, then there are ways others have already mentioned about using the existing coax that would be cheaper than what I'm doing.
