Hot Water Not Working

Hello,

My brother has a 2019 Entegra Vision 26X, and the hot water is not working, intermittent at best. He purchased it from our sister, and he's a first time ever. Any tips or areas to focus on?

Takes 30 minutes to make cold into hot on electric. It was working all along,.

Water was coming out cold, but 30 minutes later, his wife called over to our camp site and said it was now hot. I don't know what made it start working....I know in my trailer, I flip the switch, run the water for about 5 minutes, and it becomes hot. Anyway, it's all working now! That's a pretty nice little motorhome.

I am guessing winterization/bypass valve.

Not working.
When you turn ELECTRIC the water does not get hot? { }
When you turn on the GAS no hot water and fault light { }
Suuburan { } or Atoood { } Model number ________

Water in the tank seem to be hot nut no or little hot at the sink { }

Please supply details
(Note the last one is not a water heater problem.. Is a Face Palm problem.. Outside shower (or in some cases inside shower but usually the otside) Mixer valves open. flow cut off at shower head.

Need more information. Some rigs have continuous water heaters. Most have either Suburban or Atwood tank type.
Looks like it has a 6-gal tank type.
entegra specs
Find out whether they are running it on 120 volts or propane.
Ask if any lights come on the switch, they are operating the water heater.

#1 don,t light it intill your sure its full of water. if you did you burnt the electric element up.

So what is "not working" when trying to use the hot water?

Is water not coming out of the faucet? Is there water, but it's not hot?

How is it set to heat the water? (gas/electric)

Depending on how it's set to heat, is anything else that uses that source working?
