How to post your rig information in your signature

We see MANY posts asking for information on various subjects, from campgrounds to specific items. Often it's difficult to answer these questions without knowing the specific rig one has. This then, necessitates us asking for that information before we can respond. Often, without that info, the responses are not pertinent to the info you requested. With that in mind, I'd like to offer this short basic tutorial on posting your rig info as your signature.....Dennis

1. Log on and click "My Preferences".
2. On the "My Preferences" page click the middle box and enter your rig info.
3. Scroll to the bottom and click "Submit Changes"
4. Exit and you're done.

Thanks everyone. I'm happy if I can help just one person on here to make life easier.

@RayChez, my coach looks longer than 42' cuz it is. Can't speak for Holstein's but looking at his picture, it appears he took a picture, cut the background out, retook the modified picture and posted that. That way there's no background, but the cutting needs a little more finesse...:W.....Dennis

I thought maybe you needed to re-size the picture because I know I had that problem of my coach looking longer then 38'. And even at 45' your coach looks 50' long. I have discussed it with some RV friends and they also agreed that you needed to re-size to make it look normal.

I think the best shot of their coach is Don's DutchStar. That picture looks so awesome and realistic. Not taking away anything from your coach, it is a beautiful coach. But I thought maybe it needed to shrink down the length a little.

And Holsteins might be the angle at which he took the picture because the front of the coach looks higher then the back end. Not sure!

Fantastic post Executive. Now show how to down size the pictures right so that the coaches do not look longer then what they are. I notice your coach looks longer then what a 42 foot Monaco should look like and I notice Holstiens coach looks bigger on the front then it does on the back section. The sizing of the picture is not right.

Great job on your post telling other posters how to get their signatures.

Outstanding post!!!

I've been wrestling with an idea to post something like you just now posted only yours is really better written than what I was working on.

I'm going to bookmark this and paste it in every question that comes up with no information concerning the RV that is being inquired about.

I too sometimes don't bother answering because it's a hassle.

What drives me crazy is people who answer the question without knowing anything about the RV or item.

No, not bored...just tired of trying to find out what kind of rig these guys have. They ask a question, then you have to look at their profile and hope it's there. Sometimes I just skip answering a post because I'm too lazy to do that....Dennis
