I tried to alert him.

He was a little annoyed when I tried to warn him. Maybe it's new tech where you can drive down the road with your slides out.

I'll bet he couldn't retract the slide and was irked.

For reasons like this we carry a small white board and pen. My copilot can write messages that cannot be conveyed by sign language.

Pretty sure its got the Schwintek system. It can move a lot of slideout, but its VERY sensitive to alignment issues. LCI doesn't even recommend moving the slides unless the unit is perfectly level and the jacks are down.

I'd be more concerned about that low hanging rail the bike is sitting on. It's probably low so that the slide can clear the bike ... by wow ... I'd never want something that low hanging off the rear of our Class C.

I think there is a high chance that the rear slide topper was in place when he started, but decided to go for a stroll once at highway speeds and the wind started tearing at it. I'd say that at least a grand worth of damage was done, and the fun was just beginning since there is a good chance that the above Schwintek slide mechanism of that Solera (as far as I know, it uses an aluminum track) is probably toast.

Did you notice the size of the toolbox on the back of the bicycle? The one that looks like a single green bungie is holding it in place? ๐Ÿ˜ฎ

He's using it as a rear spoiler for increased downforce.

Or maybe faulty hydraulics and it extended going down the road and didn't notice. I wouldn't drive it that way no matter what, too much stress on the wall bouncing down the road. Then he'll wonder why his back wall cracked.

Front tires need less air if there's more weight hanging off the back.

Extended the slide into a tree or______ ? Ripped, then removed awning? Knocked slide out of alignment - won't retract? Very upset when people try to point it out to him?:B Or it just wouldn't retract, and he took the awning off?
