Introduce myself

Greetings Sirs and Madams,
I just thought I would introduce myself to break the ice.
I'm Paul and I picked up a1990 class C Chevy Tioga last fall. It has 45,000 miles on it. It is a 350 with a 400 Transmission. We are the third owners and it came with 6 new tires, an awning and an Onan emerald genset. It is extremely clean, but not without issues.
The most pressing of which is the roof. I will start a different thread for my questions.

I actually got this for my mom so she could visit the grandkids more easily. I want to get it In top shape before sending it down to Tennessee. From the perusing I've done on this site, I'm confident the helpful folks here can help me to that end.

I know everyone loves pictures so I will try and post some next time.
Thanks for a great site.

Okay Ron, I'll give that a try.
In the meantime I am going to start a thread regarding the roof.

Welcome to the forum. You have the roof and tire issue covered. They are two big things for RV's.
Ask lots of questions, someone will have the answer.
Enjoy your travels.

Thanks for the welcomes guys.
@ Cameron This is the second class c we've had, the other being a '78 (or so) Dodge about ten years ago. I had a lot of fun with that before it went away. This ones way nicer. My boys will be sad to see it go.
Miles: just to be clear, it was not my cash, I meant i researched, found, inspected and otherwise procured it. Now that I've cleaned it, tuned it and enjoyed it it is time to send it on down in October.
Roof is the last detail. I've looked at what's involved to add pics here. It may be a day or so before I get it together, but l will get there.
Again thanks for the welcome

Welcome to the site! I hope you enjoy RVing as much as we have over these last 5 weeks! Looking forward to seeing the pictures. Best advice I received as a new RV owner-- join Good Sam RV club. We've been very happy with the service. Best, Mike era70x.com
