Is this a 95' or an 85' Rockwood ?

The owner has this listed as a "95 Rockwood", but after scouring the internet tonight looking for information about them and finding nothing, I'm guessing it must an 85' ?
That would make more sense given the price. I'm really just trying to get an idea of the reputation and problems these have.

I've been shopping for my first motorhome for about 6 weeks, looked at a bunch of basket cases for under $5000 - sad being a bottom feeder. I'm leaning towards an 83' Revcon currently (but its 4 hours away and I've yet to see it), but this Rockwood popped up and looked like it might be alright. I was the first to call on it earlier - at this price if it drives and does not look rotted out it will be gone soon. The owner has had it since new. Replaced tranny, recent front brakes, alternator, rear end seals. sounds like it is kept up fairly well, and he will drive it 2.5 hours too me if I want to see it.

He did say the roof is fiberglass but that it somewhat de-laminated. Should I run based on that alone? How was this era Rockwood? I know I had better check the exhaust manifolds. Thanks, Mark

Still appears to be a good deal to me. I think you'd be hard pressed to find another in that shape for the price.

Thanks all, I am hard pressed to make the link work - glad you were able to provide it for me. I'm guessing they were not too popular. More importantly, does anyone know the reputation these have?

85 or 95, seems like a good deal. A steal if it's really a '95.

In agreement, year is probably correct. I did a search and found a couple of '87's with the same basic lines, in Google images.

I think its also likely a mid to late 1980's era Rockwood.

This is purported a 1995 Rockwood.
