New to the great life of RVing. I have a 2014 Sunseeker and pull a 2012 Equinox. Just wondering when I stop for the night and don't unhook and put down the levelers will that do anything to the tow bar or my dinghy. Thanks for all the great feedback.

Leave the Toad in travel position, hooked up. You can extend levelers to their MAX and it will not affect the Toad.

Leave our toad hooked on all the time. On over night stops.

I've done it many times. Just make sure you leave the TOAD in the tow-ready condition so it can move around as needed when extending the jacks.

No issues except...don't forget to put car in park and take keys out, you could be surprised with a dead battery the next morning. We have on occasion used jacks to level off THEN put car in park, once the motorhome is level, and remove keys for the night. In the morning my routine is to run car through the gears and end up in neutral and the ignition in acc. for the days travel. My 2-cents.

Never had a problem and have seen plenty of rigs in pull thru sites with tows still attached! Just make sure the back of the vehicle is not out in the driveway!

It will have no more effect than traveling the back roads that cause the coach to sway.

Unless you park the coach way off level you should be fine. I kinda doubt you could raise levelers enough to match what can happen while towing.

Why not (just to be on the safe side) unhook the car before you level the unit, why take a chance ?

Would depend on how far "out of level" you might be parked.
