Something to look out for, leak in the back of the water heater hose. I am on the road and for the first time in a long time I am parked on a black top camp site. After the first night, I noticed a very small water spot(silver dollar size) on the black top about 2 feet under the rig by the hot water heater. You never would of seen it on grass or gravel site. I let it go until the next day, it didn't go away nor bigger.
I got under the rig and found that the water heater has a trap door. I open the door and found the rear of the water heater and that one of the two water hose had rubbed a small hole in it and leaked very little. This has been going on for awhile, the panel door was all rusted. The hoses are rubber so I replaced both with the metal hose. You can get them at Home Depot.

RUNAGROUND:

Our pole was very bent after it was damaged. It probably sagged 3 to 5 inches at the center of the tube when it was rolled up for storage.

If your awning is mounted on the roof of your RV and not on your sidewall you should have an 845 on the sticker on your awning pole. If you have an 815, 825, 835 instead of 845 you probably have the wrong fabric on your awning.

I've looked every where for this 845 number. The awning should dump. When rolled out the spring loaded side will drop with just a small amount of pressure when I push down, it drops about 9".

I have a 2005 Pace Arrow 37A, I am having a few problems any help would be appreciated. My duel heatpumps on the roof will not blow hot air. My cabin propane heater shuts off and will not relight. I took to dealer they found no problem with the propane heater, said it worked fine so I picked it up, went camping its was working fine then the temp. dropped to around 30 degrees and it quit working made for a very cold night. Noticed that my full body paint was starting to bubble and peel, whom would I call with this problem? Command center on dash has a line through it. Overdrive does not always want to engage, and last but not least front left brake makes a lot of clicking and squealing noise. Has anybody dealt with any of these items if so your input would be much appreciated. I know that is sounds like I am complaing, but I really do love my coach just has a few issues that I need help figuring out.

Don't know about all your problems, but I did have a similar problem with my propane heater. My propane tank was about 1/4 full, and had also been filled at a dealer in a warmer climate (butane added). When the temp got down around freezing the propane wouldn't flow. Couldn't light my stove either. Filled up the tank with 100% propane and problem solved. Don't even believe the propane tank guages, they're not accurate. When my tank was 1/4 full, the guage inside showed full and one on the tank showed 3/4.

Where is the fresh water drain on the 36B? Haven't had to look for it yet, sitting here thinking about it and realized I don't recall seeing it.

The fresh water drain is in the propane compartment, above the propane tank.

Has anyone had the rubber guard infront of the drivers side back tire rub the tire going down the road. Mine started rubbing and burning ( smoke smell inside motor home going down the road). I cut the bottom off about 2 inches. The dealer placed a metsl strap on one side of it, but the trip to Mission this week it still smelled the mh up. What is the fix?

We had this same problem, and took ours back to the dealer. He cut ours off 'leaving 2 inches' hanging and anchored the inside part of the flap with a screw. Sounds like you may need to cut more off.

dnjsdad, I have a clicking noise in front wheel and it is the wheel liner. When I remove and replace it then the noise goes away for a short time and then returns again. Fleetwood suggests I place o-rings on the lugs which I will do. I have a recurring problem I hope someone can help me with. Our Sealand toilet tend to "burp" when you first push the flush lever. This is our first toilet with a ball valve and wonder if this is common. Don't want to be sitting when you push the lever.

----------------------------------------------------------------------Hi bricot, you'll find it above the propane tank. Ours had a slight leak and I replaced it myself. Hope you're enjoying your new Pace.

As far as the Awning goes, Fleetwood replaced the wind sensor on our 05 36B. Just found out the other day as temps have fallen that the awning sensor has an alarm that goes off when the temp is apx.32F when in the enabled mode. Took some time to figure out where that beeping was comming from.
Awning dump problem. Ours doesn't work either. Will use info given in previous post and check it out. Seems like it never ends.

It's mounted towards the top of the curve to the roof. Should be the same as yours. The way we/dealer determined it was failing, after it almost blew off, was by using a compressor. Some directions it worked and some it didn't. Even when it's working correctly it will take a stronger wind from the Air Conditioner side to bring it in but that's OK because the awning is on the lee ward side and can take a higher wind. I'll never trust it to where I'll leave it out unattended. If you don't have a compressor, buy a can of,"canned air," extend it a foot and try it.

Pat

Got it back this weekend, sure enough the awning is mounted as you stated, I remembered it being lower. I'll have to check the numbers on the awning now. The valve was right above the propane tank, and it dumps right on the propane tank... ๐Ÿ˜‰

PROBLEMS WITH DOMETIC AWNING ON 2004 PACE ARROW 37c

I am posting this in case anyone else is having problems with their Dometic weather pro awning with the wind and rain sensor features. Our awning has just never seemed to really dump rain water to our satisfaction and we even bent the main tube when water remained on the awning during an unexpected rain storm. We found out recently that we had mismatched awning parts and fabric from the factory which has caused our awning to not perform properly. Our 2004 37C was manufactured in late 2003. If you have a unit that matches this description you may want to check the following information out. If you have a the large Dometic WeatherPro awning that extends from the side door and over the kitchen slide and your awning is mounted on the roof and not the sidwall of the motor home you should look for a special number that is visiable on the tube of your awning when the awning is fully extended. You will find a white sticker with some awning information on it located on the tube near the end that is nearest the front of the motor home. Look for a number that is hopefully 845 that indicates the length of the fabric on your motorhome. 845 is correct. If you have 815, 825, 835 your fabric could be the incorrect length for a roof mounted awning and it will not dump water properly. If you have already had to have your awning tube replaced because it bent from a previous problem try to verify what the numbers were on your original tube and not the replacement tube you now have. Our dealer was smart enough to keep our original awning tube sticker information with our service records when our tube was replaced back in July and this information helped verify that we had the wrong length awning material installed at the factory. These awnings are under warranty by the manufacturer for 3 years so don't delay contacting Dometic if you have this problem. Your time is running out.

Great, I'll check it out today. So in '05 they moved your awning so it mounts on the roof?
Wonder if theres a good way to test the wind sensor to tell if its operating within normal limits?

Just saw this thread...you may want to look into a new site I saw called www.trailerswanted.com. They have a huge forum section for trailers of all types buy there are not many posters yet. Looks like it will be great once it gets going.

My 36B isn't here right now, so I can't check for sure, but I think it's above the propane tank.

Oops, you are asking about the drain, not the valve! Have to say I don't know where the drain is.

Actually I was thinking of the valve. I'll look above the propane tank when I get it back tomorrow. Thanks
