I'm posting this here due to the concentration of Pace Arrow owners, in hopes that someone can help with this problem. If it belongs in a different forum, please move it there ๐Ÿ™‚

I have a 2005, 36D. It's been parked in my driveway for about a month, while we've been lining up our next trip. The coach has been plugged into a 15amp circuit to just keep the fridge cold, and run any lights we need should we go out to grab something from the coach.
Last weekend, Lowes delivered a load of patio stone to me, and ran over the extension cord going to the coach with their forklift. I didn't think anything of it when I discovered it, but tonight I went to start loading the coach and my house batteries are dead. Even though I have both replaced and reconnected my extension cord...the coach isn't getting 12V power. There is AC coming in to the coach, because the microwave lights up...and I can turn on the DVD/Stereo system, but my fridge won't stay running. If I start the coach, everything is fine, the fridge comes on, and my house batts get charged, but as soon as I turn the coach off, the batts start draining. I'm surprised that this impacts the fridge running on AC, but it apparently needs DC voltage to accomplish this ๐Ÿ™‚
I believe I've blown a fuse in the inverter/charger, or possibly blown the unit itself. My problem is...I CAN'T FIND IT!!! lol
I've been through every cabinet, I have the manual on it, I've been through every storage compartment... I know the darned thing is right under my nose, but I just can't find it.

Sooooooooooooo...I pulled everything back out of the fridge, and Momma's giving my that look that says "If this doesn't get fixed, I'm not going ANY where..." ๐Ÿ™‚

So if someone can point me to the physical location, I'd be grateful...

Thanks in advance ๐Ÿ˜‰

Just in case you missed it, here is the recall information for those of us effected by the break recall. I would urge anyone that has not experienced a problem yet to still have an inspection done to make sure your brakes are really OK. We have had this problem several times and had all our breaks serviced at one time or another in the past few years and have even had repeat problems on repaired breaks. Thank goodness we never had problems will all breaks at the same time. If you notice any fluid marks on your tires you have probably had an excessive problem. Hopefully we can all get serviced over the winter months. Our dealer has told us that even though our breaks have been fixed in the past we will still need to have further service under the recall with the new replacement parts.

Good luck.

Fleetwood is recalling 509 MY 2001-2008 Class A motor homes equipped with axles that include BOSCH ZOPS or ZOHT pin slide hydraulic disc brakes. When combined with occasional or seasonal vehicle operation may experience calipers sticking in the applied position. This can result in abnormal heat generation at the wheel end causing brake drag. The driver would normally have warning of the brake drag if undetected by the driver. The driver would normally detect the brake drag but if undetected the temperature increase at the wheel end can eventually lead to soft pedal conditions due to brake fluid boil, and possible extended stopping distance increasing the risk of a crash. Dealers will inspect and replace the necessary components free of charge. Workhorse is handling the remedy for this campaign. The manufacturer has not yet provided an owner notification schedule. Owners may contact Workhorse at 1-877-246-7731. Workhorse will conduct te owner and dealer notification.

Parts: screen door & slide out topper.

The L shaped small plastic part that holds the screen door to the outside door has broken - anyone found this part?

Also the middle support to the large slide out topper has lost one of the rollers - the shorter one, 5" , as the axle cap fell off. Anyone found this part?

Thanks, Gary

Just wondering how everyone's doing? Did everyone have a good summer? We are looking forward to doing some 'fall' camping.

Good to see someones posted, everyone must be out enjoying the summer. We're leaving Wednesday for Yellowstone, Glacier NP, Mt Rushmore and meandering our way towards Albuquerque to the Ballon Fiesta again for our 5th year with some good friends. Hope you all had fun!

Balloon Fiesta sounds great. A couple of years ago we when on our 1st hot air balloon ride. It was AWESOME! We're hoping to visit the places you just mentioned in a few years as soon as DH retires, and we get all our ducks in a row. Maybe we'll see you there.

Have fun!!

Subject: squeaks and rattles
Jim: Some of our mirrors have actually come loose by themselves. Luckily we noticed each time before they fell off and broke. I have reattached them using the white spongy 2 way wall mounting tape. So far this fix has worked very well. One of our repair jobs has been in place over 2 years now. We also had a big problem with our dinette booth table squeaking and we solved this problem by buying a piece of clear flexable tubing large enough to slit it lengthwise and slip it over the end of the table that rests against the wall. The tubing provided just enough cushion to fill up the extra space between the wall and the table to stop the squeaking and it looks good enough to leave it on all the time.

We now have some new squeaks in our dash and have not yet figured out what to do about that yet. Does anyone have any suggestions?

After 5.5 years and 70K miles, we have lots of squeaks and rattles, especially when driving on our awful California highways. Lots of the noise seems to be coming from the mirrors mounted on the kitchen slideout walls (we have the 36B model). Has anyone removed and remounted these mirrors? Any advise about how to quiet them and other noises?

I get a lot of noise on mine in the driver compartment area, its a series of screws in the below the A-pillars that you can access by lifting the hood. These screws go through a metal bracket, half the time they have backed themselves out or have fallen out all together. Last service I requested that they use lock-tite on them but they are squeeking again, so I'm going to have to check and see if they did what they said they did or not. I'm a little hesitant to go to the red lock-tite, but if these things don't stop coming loose....

We remounted our kitchen mirror shortly after we got the MH new in 05. We used different kind of mounts, just common ones, and also a little mirror adhisive on the back. No more rattles.

Well good for you, enjoy. Were having a new driveway put in so we will be stuck at home for another 3 weeks before we can drive the MH on it. Dam, can't put the drive way off any longer.

What a great trip for this tine of year for you. Lucky you.
